Sylvan Esso-Coffee

I woke up and all I could think about was coffee. So I search it and here we are. The premiere of Sylvan Esso's "Coffee" was on 25th March. The duo used to be two different bands. Right now she (Amelia Meath) writes the lyrics and he (Nick Sanborn) creates the melodies. "Sylvan Esso acknowledges that the world is a tumult of complications by giving you a way to sing and dance with those troubles, if not to will them away altogether." This is how they describe their way of writing music on their facebook page. You can watch on Lyrics On My Wall their wonderful music video for "Coffee".

Sylvan Esso-Coffee

True, it's dance, we know the moves
The bow, the dip, the woo
Though the words are true
The state is old news

Wrap me in your arms
I can't feel it, but...
Rock me in your arms
I can't feel it, but

Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Feel the internal rotation, and stop!
See the next one waiting
Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Get up
Sentiment's the same but the pair of feet change

I know my words will dry upon the skin
Just like the names I remember hearing
Wild winters, warm coffee
Mom's gone, do you love me?
Blazing summers, cold coffee
Baby's gone, do you love me?

Wrap me in your arms
I can't feel it, but
Rock me in your arms
I can't feel it, but

Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Feel the internal rotation, and stop!
See the next one waiting
Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Get up
Sentiment's the same but the pair of feet change

Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Feel the internal rotation, and stop!
See the next one waiting
Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Get up
Sentiment's the same but the pair of feet change

My baby does the hanky panky
My baby does
My baby does the hanky panky
My baby does
My baby does the hank panky
(Wrap me in your arms, I can't feel it, but)
My baby does
My baby does the hanky panky
(Rock me in your arms, I can't feel it, but...)
My baby does

Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Feel the internal rotation, and stop!
See the next one waiting
Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Get up
Sentiment's the same but the pair of feet change

I think its "feel the turn of rotation in the stars", and see the next one waiting.

    Ex: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star-crossed

I believe it implied the change in your "destiny", "life", etc and thus you see the next one waiting. One of the reasons why it keeps asking "do you love me?".

Additionally, "Get up, Get down". I believe shows a progression of time, as you wake up and go back to sleep through your life.
